The Autostadt’s win­ter event is a fixed date in our calen­dar. A real win­ter fairy­ta­le attracts the who­le fami­ly to the park. In the win­ter won­der­land with count­less lights, Christ­mas mar­ket and ice ska­ting show, ever­yo­ne is gua­ran­teed to get into the Christ­mas spirit.

Performance

In addi­ti­on to all the fun, sus­taina­bi­li­ty has also long been a topic here: recy­clable mate­ri­als are used and sup­ple­men­ted every year. Larch wood from Euro­pe is used for the foot­brid­ges and boards of the ice rinks. Func­tion and respon­si­bi­li­ty in one.

Our actions

The con­s­truc­tion of the snow play area is a com­plex under­ta­king. An exis­ting green hill is com­ple­te­ly built over to crea­te a snow-cover­ed slo­pe on which tobog­ga­ning can take place.

The con­s­truc­tion of bridge ele­ments with spans of 10 meters is a design chall­enge that we glad­ly accept. Natu­ral­ly desi­gned for mul­ti­ple use, inclu­ding trace heating.

Ele­gant and prac­ti­cal: the gang­way con­s­truc­tion hides the tech­no­lo­gy and crea­tes a walk­way for the guests.

Count­less deco­ra­ti­ve figu­res are rework­ed or new­ly crea­ted by us year after year to enchant visi­tors young and old.
